Sciatica is pain, tingling, or numbness produced by an irritation of the nerve roots that lead to the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is formed by the nerve roots coming out of the spinal cord into the lower back. It goes down through the buttock, then its branches extend down the back of the leg to the ankle and foot.
Hi All!
I have sciatica - or whatever it is that is causing my hip and thigh area this much pain. Can hardly walk - or sit - or lie - but still went out on my rounds this morning! A very painful condition indeed.
Trash day for the city, and my stuff - the shelters on Pennsylvania - was not out on the curb along with the debris from the house that Julio has been working on. So phew, dodged another bullet. But it won't be for long. and I have NO WHERE to rehome all eight feral semi feral cats that call this their home. And yes, I will do anything to bribe this man for now, to not trash it. I didn't receive any offers of gift cards, so I will use my own money to do this. I am pretty sure I can reason with him with this. Come nicer weather I will be continuing my trap neuter return to reduce the population in this part of the city. There are just too many reproducing. The city really does need to address this problem soon. I wish I could make a difference in that respect.
In the meantime, back to nursing myself, and wishing you a good day!
Don't forget all the babies that need adopting! :)
Janine, read the comment yesterday from Walt; I agree with him. Ouch! I had Sciatica pain while pregnant and don't want to go thru that again. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteA long shot Janine, but do you remember Joe saying he heard Brother Wheeze (no spell check please , ha ha ) recently talk to a man on radio talk call in, about the property he was renovating in Rochester city, and complaing a woman was continually feeding cats there ? wonder if you could get B.W., on side ( he has cats of his own, right ?) and say a word for you ? in any case, he is very popular, couldnt hurt......
ReplyDeleteSorry for you Siatica J., know only too well how excruciating it is , not fair.
ReplyDeleteoh btw, B.W was not complaining, the caller was.
ReplyDeleteHey Janine - I will help you with $ for the gift card BUT I do think it's important to just talk to him first. I asked my friend who is a Spanish teacher if she would come with you to translate and help you talk with the man. She said she would and her hugely muscular husband would come too!! :) I will call you tonight ! xoxo -Kristin
ReplyDeleteAnd I ABSOLUTELY think you should call Brother Wease!! -Kristin
ReplyDeleteBrother Wease is a very kind-hearted man; he's always for the underdog and I could see him rallying for you Janine.
ReplyDeleteI think what you do to help cats is amazing! It's even more amazing that you are able to push through the pain that you are personally dealing with to help them. I hope you are able to find some way to relieve the pain so that you can continue to do your important work.
