Sorry for the delay in writing- super crazy week then in the Adirondacks for the weekend.
Cammy has been back home! He only needed to stay 4 days and he looks a million times better. They gave him an antibiotic shot that lasts for 2 weeks that's just about wearing off now so we will see how long he can go without another infection- so long as he can go at least 3-6 months it will not be considered chronic- let's keep our fingers crossed! We have prescription food that should help with this too- and maybe help him lose a bit of weight.
Thanks for the support during our research of his issue and health- I'm a science-minded woman and when emotions fail, I like as much data as possible...always makes for a clear decision when I can figure out as much as I can. Even though no more info was available, the positive thoughts certainly helped.
I'll let you know how everything progresses- so far, I'm calling it a success.
And here are a few taken this morning of my own, and a few stowaways that need adoption:

|Baylee (needs adoption!)|

Here is the little guy I had neutered yesterday, and had to release this morning onto Webster and Ferndale Crescent. Poor baby was scared to death. He didn't even eat over night or this morning. :(
Thanks for all the comments yesterday. Here is some great information on introductions to new pets with other furry family members.
