TGIF

Man o man...  so true.  Its been a long week.  Lots of ups and downs.  Yesterday it was pure rain.  Today, just clouds.  I can deal with clouds.  Its the rain that makes it tough, especially when you are feeding cats under trees, or by the side of the road.  There are four spots where that is happening.  You know that there is going to be some soggy food left in those bowls when you get there the next morning after it rains.

Then there is Niagara Street.  This evil person who keeps taking the boards is not going to stop.  I left a very slim board - just enough to cover the food - against the building there - and he came by and took the board again.  I said to myself, after I drove off this morning, after feeding the SEVEN sweet cats that have been there FOREVER - and believe me, they all run to me when I pull up - I thought to myself - this man will be in hell someday, with boards surrounding him.  The police can't do anything with just his license plate.  They sent a letter to his address, and asked for him to call them, but he did not respond, and I was told if they can't ID him, they can't add him to a crime report.   I just hope KARMA gets him, and gets him good.  Nasty no life person.

I had a female kitty TNR'd yesterday, with release this morning, from Melville Street.  Earlier this year, she was very pregnant and when I was going to grab her for spay, she disappeared.  I didn't see her for weeks and weeks.  Then I did and she was very skinny.  I never found her kittens.  I don't think they survived.  I finally had her spayed yesterday.  I felt terrible releasing her this morning as she is a very sweet little girl.   But my fosters are full, and I didn't know someone had offered on Facebook until too late.  She is on my list, but there are others before her.

I received a call from Foster Sue who was alerted by her daughter that someone she knows found out about a cat at a trailer park that was left behind after the people moved, pregnant, and just had her babies.  Sue asked what we should do.  After some thought, I called Foster Mom Estelle and asked her if she was ready.  The last mom and kittens she fostered - all have gone to greener pastures except for Fluffy the mom.  Still trying to get her adopted, although Estelle has her sights on her right now.  :)   Meet the latest family of SEVEN.

That's all I have for today.

Don't forget about the Paint and Purr painting party on 11/2!  Please reserve your seat today!

Have a great day.
