My beautiful girl...
Mary
Jane's last day on this earth was Friday. It was certainly her time. She
could barely walk last week. She would
jump up on the stool to see what food she could steal off my plate and would
fall over onto the floor. She had a good
appetite but was skin and bone. She
lasted a good 14 years.
A pet
can symbolize a child, best friend, or long-term companion. Dogs and cats
live an average of 13 years—enough time to truly enter and live in your heart.
They become a part of your family and daily life. Your morning routine may not
be complete without snuggling with your kitty. Pets teach you responsibility, patience,
kindness, discipline, playfulness and, most importantly, unconditional love.

ReplyDeleteKaron and I extend our profound condolences to you for the loss of your sweet Mary Jane. Rest assured she is playing in Kitty heaven and looking down at you while bragging to her friends saying she had the best Mom any Kitty could ever have.
Janine, as you know you did the right and compassionate thing by saying goodbye to Mary Jane and she understood why you had to do so.
