It is a young unneutered male with no microchip as slender as a feral, but it obviously wants a home with people. Is there any agency who would help a cat like that? Have a call in to Habitat for Cats, but afraid Lollipop or the City would just put it down. Glad you're on the mend. Now I have the body of a 50yo, but hips that work like I am 20. My orthopedic surgeon would go bonkers if he knew, but I am actually back in the saddle and riding horses again. What a joy it is.

My offer still stands to help you with feeding in the wee hours of the morning, trapping or where ever else I may be of service. I am new to having so much free time on my hands and would love to have an opportunity to do something I believe in.

I do have experience with trapping and have the time to check traps throughout the day if necessary. I also have experience with feral cats & kittens. Years ago I adopted a feral kitten from Windy Hill cat rescue. Poo_C and his siblings were not caught early enough to be socialized, but with plenty of patience we brought him around. Hands down, he is the most loving creature we have ever adopted from a rescue organization. All of our pets have been rescues of one species or another.

Currently I am living on a horse farm a few miles outside of Chili, I do know the city of Rochester well and would be able to navigate through the dark streets well, as your copilot.

In addition to the 16 horses and my mimi pot belly pig, we have 7 cats on the farm. 3 antique models that are strictly indoors, 2 barn cats that live in a heated tack room at night and during the winter months and 2 truly farel cats that come and go between this farm and another farm down the road. If we weren't already feeding 7 cats, I'd try to push the envelope and ask to take on another, but I already know the verdict.....Sooo, at present all I have to offer to you is my time and dedication. Most certainly we should meet for a coffee and see how I can be of assistance!

Also, I love reading your blog. Your writing style reminds me that of my favorite author, Janet Evanovich.

Have a beautiful weekend, Denise
Denise DiSanonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7603723189041366390.post-8625951658221801302016-09-10T09:10:28.325-04:002016-09-10T09:10:28.325-04:00I am very happy to hear you opted for the cortison...I am very happy to hear you opted for the cortisone shots, they worked wonders for me before I had to step up and have both of my hips replaced a couple years ago. And I ...I am so happy to hear your knee is better! And I can't thank Sheryl and Kings enough for stepping up and helping you. What a friend she is to do that for you. Great job Sheryl!!!! I hope everyone will plan to come to the 3rd annual Meow and Chow FUNraiser on October 1st!! it will be much cooler than the sweltering July days we have had the past 2 years and super fun! We are not doing the big basket auction this year but we would still LOVE to have small items donated for our door prize raffles. Things like bottles of wine, $10 or $20 gift certificates, pet toys, or any other little thing that would be fun to win. Please let Janine know if you'd like to donate a small item and we can arrange to get it. thank you!!
-KristinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
